The Framer Bridge

A small app that runs on a computer in your home and delivers paintings to your Samsung Frame TV. Install it once - it connects your TV to The Framer and stays out of the way in your menu bar.

You'll needa Samsung Frame TV and a computer or Raspberry Pi that's usually on, connected to the same Wi-Fi as the TV. That computer runs the bridge.

An always-on device is the best home for the bridge - it also enables scheduled rotation. One line in a terminal, and the installer walks you through connecting your account:

After installing

  1. Open the app - your browser appears asking you to connect your account. Sign in with Google, done.
  2. It finds your Samsung Frame TV on your Wi-Fi automatically and tells you when it's ready.
  3. That's it. Pick a painting in The Framer and it appears on your TV. The bridge stays quietly in your menu bar and starts with your computer.
